Neal Cornett

Neal Cornett brings a wealth of experience litigating open records laws in state courts across the country and will bring those skills to the Oversight Project. Cornett began his career with the Kentucky State Senate as counsel for Senate President Robert Stivers and Assistant Clerk. Cornett later worked for Governor Matt Bevin in the Kentucky Department for Local Government. After leaving Kentucky, he joined Government Oversight & Accountability, P.C., where he conducted investigations into blue-state governors and attorneys general, focusing on the influence of leftist billionaires on state policy.
