Colin Aamot is a U.S. Army veteran with experience in conventional and special operations units, specializing in effects planning, information warfare, and open-source intelligence. As an Information Operations Planner, he supported Operations Spartan Shield and Inherent Resolve, working across SOCCENT and USASOC. He served on various joint task forces focused on shaping operational environments through information operations, integration of emerging technologies, and non-kinetic targeting. Prior to the Army, he was a technologist and developer at Logos (Faithlife). Later, he served as a Senior Innovation Fellow in the Office of Representative Darrell Issa (CA-48). He earned an M.A. in Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
