Oversight Project’s Statement on Dismissal of Charges Against President Trump in Georgia

Press Releases

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

October 24, 2025

Washington, D.C. –

The pardons of the contingent electors helped destroy any remaining life support for the weaponized charges against President Trump in Georgia. It was an absolute honor to advocate for those pardons and advise the Trump Administration on the legal and prudential need to unwind the weaponization and lawfare.

These pardons of the contingent electors directly contributed to a prosecutor in Georgia dismissing the charges against President Trump. The Oversight Project is thrilled to help impose the deterrent cost of absolute failure on those who pushed this weaponization.

Brick by brick we will dissemble and aim to provide consequences for those behind these actions and relief for those who suffered as a result. It is becoming more costly for Democrats to act like maniacs and use lawfare as their weapon of choice.

Thank you to Pardon Attorney Ed Martin for leading this charge and to President Trump for leaving no man behind as he pursued this bold strategy. The Oversight Project is proud to have played a central role in this historic process.
