Oversight Project Runs Ads Opposing Jim Baird in his Primary Race On May 5th

Washington, D.C.– The Oversight Project released an ad today encouraging Indiana District 4 to vote against Congressman Jim Baird on May 5th. Jim Baird has represented Indiana’s 4th Congressional District since 2019.
As a cosponsor of the DIGNIDAD Act (Dignity Act), a massive amnesty bill, Jim Baird is soft on immigration and is pushing radical left-wing policies. The Dignity Act is a betrayal to Republican voters. Americans voted for mass deportations when they elected President Trump back into the White House. The Dignity Act will hinder President Trump from fulfilling his signature campaign promise to “carry out the largest deportation operation in American history.”
Republicans in Indiana’s 4th congressional district must vote against Representative Jim Baird in tomorrow’s primary to help President Trump carry out his agenda of mass deportation.
Oversight Project President Mike Howell gave this statement:
“The Dignity Act is a betrayal of Americans who voted for mass deportation and a rejection of the central thesis of the Republican Party since President Trump came down the Golden Escalator. This bill is destructive and has proven to be deeply divisive ahead of the critical midterms. If Rep. Baird remains in Congress then Democrats will have his vote for a massive amnesty. The people of Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District should not send him back to Congress to throw America under the bus. They should deport him from Congress and send a big message to all the other Dignity Act co-sponsors.”
