Oversight Project Responds to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation

Washington, D.C. – In the fall of 2025, the Oversight Project launched a petition for the Federal Bureau of Investigation to create a new domestic terrorism designation for Trans Ideology-Inspired Violent Extremism (TIVE). The TIVE designation captures individuals who have embraced radical transgender ideology and who carry out acts of violence against Americans.
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) recently highlighted our work by slapping a trigger warning on it. Predictably, GLAAD dismissed our claims as a ‘fearmongering trope’ and entered us into their guide of “Anti-LGBTQ Online Hate and Disinformation.” Soon, the Oversight Project will release a “TIVE heat map” so the public can better track these acts of violence.
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation is way outside their lane. They are now diminishing Transgender Ideology-Inspired Violence and Extremism (TIVE). Our ironclad research shows that TIVE is a quickly emerging and increasing threat to domestic security in the United States. It may not be politically correct to say it, but we will: there is too much violence and extremism emerging from this camp. Bad things happen when you pump children full of experimental drugs, conduct medical experimentation on them, and have adults tell them that the world is out to get them. Too many, but not all, become radicalized towards violence, and as they grow up do commit horrendous acts of violence.
Our team of expert former Federal law enforcement and intelligence sees it clearly, and our work speaks for itself, as does the data as it relates to TIVE attacks. It’s time for government at all levels to take it seriously. We can worry about people’s feelings later.
